WakeMed Health and Hospitals employees have exclusive access to open a WakeMed Hero Checking account which features:
- $150 account opening bonus1
- $10 monthly maintenance fee is waived with $100 minimum monthly balance
- ATM fees are reimbursed up to $15 per statement cycle for the use of non-North State Bank ATMs
- One NSF fee waived every calendar year
- Earn up to $120 a year in cash back ($10 a month) when these requirements are met each statement cycle:
- Receive an electronic statement
- Conduct 20 or more paid debit card transactions (not including ATM transactions)
- Receive your WakeMed payroll via direct deposit to this account
- Receive an electronic statement
Wake Emergency Physician, PA (WEPPA) employees are also eligible for the WakeMed Hero Checking account benefit.
