RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (“North State”; the “Bank”) has been named a “2025 Best Place to Work” by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ), announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer. This year’s award marks the Bank’s second time receiving this recognition from the TBJ.
“It is particularly exciting to receive this honor as we celebrate our 25th anniversary,” shared Lloyd. “Our culture has been a focus since our doors first opened. We hire, train, and invest in the best, so our customers can enjoy a better banking experience. It’s common to hear our team members refer to coworkers as ‘family.’ In addition to an experienced team with knowledge and expertise, it is that family spirit that sets us apart. As a company, as a team, as a family--we have fun.”
The winners were selected based on anonymous employee surveys conducted by Quantum Workplace. At a banquet in August, winners will learn if they are in the top three in their respective size categories.
Founded in 2000, North State Bank is an independent, full-service community bank serving Wake and New Hanover counties through seven offices. The Bank operates four unique business line divisions: CommunityPLUS—for community management associations, Government Lending—including SBA, Mortgage, and a Specialized Lending Group (SLG) for developers and builders.
