Sixteen-year event donation to Transitions LifeCare is over $1.7 million.
RALEIGH, NC . . . For the second consecutive year, North State Bank executives presented a check for $125,000 to members of Transitions LifeCare’s management team, the net proceeds of Summer Salute 2019, shared Sandra A. Temple, event co-chair and retired North State Bank executive. The sixteen-year donation to Transitions Life from Summer Salute now tops $1.7 million.
“We are pleased and thankful and it is hard to find words that seem adequate,” Temple shared. “Thanks to the committee – always, for their hard work; to the volunteers – for making it happen; to our generous sponsors – without whom this couldn’t happen; and, for the people who attend Summer Salute and make it such a special evening. Summer Salute continues to hold a unique place in the hearts of many people who have been touched by the care and services provided by Transitions LifeCare. They come to have fun and to support a great cause.”
Held at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh with “The Embers” with Craig Woolard, North Carolina’s premier beach music band, providing entertainment, the event once again wowed attendees with food, dancing and live and silent auctions.

Summer Salute is a special way to share the Transitions LifeCare story with new people and engage them while they are having fun. The impact on our team, as they are able to serve in ways that otherwise may not be possible, and on the individuals and families who seek our services, is immeasurable.”
