North Carolina’s own “The Embers” will be back to provide entertainment for the event that has netted over $1.5 million for Transitions LifeCare.
RALEIGH, NC . . . North State Bank’s Summer Salute for Transitions LifeCare will be held on Saturday evening, May 5, 2018, at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, announced Sandra A. Temple, co-chair for the event. North Carolina’s own “The Embers” with Craig Woolard will provide beach music while attendees enjoy food, fun and dancing.
“Last year, the planning committee knocked it out of the park,” Temple shared. “In 2018, our sponsors and attendees can expect the same–a great effort for an even greater cause. Everyone has a heart for Summer Salute and gives freely of their time, talents, donations and more.”
Event co-chair Jim Branch said, “Nearly everyone has been impacted by the service Transitions LifeCare offers. Whether it’s because of a family member, a friend or a co-worker, nearly everyone has a close connection and that connection makes them want to help. We will, as always, kick off summer with a fun night, including music, food, prizes and perhaps some surprises. Don’t miss it!”
Attire is “summer night casual” and tickets are $100. Additional information is available and tickets can be purchased online at SummerSalute.com. Tickets also can be purchased at any North State Bank office.
Now in its 15th year, Summer Salute has donated over $1.5 million to Transitions LifeCare, the leading provider of hospice and palliative care in Wake County and the surrounding area. Funds provided from Summer Salute support programs for families who otherwise could not afford care.
