RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (the “Bank”) has named Tanner Settles as a commercial loan portfolio manager for its Specialized Lending Group (SLG) announced Jonathan Hand, senior vice president of the Bank and president of the SLG division. Settles will manage and monitor a portfolio of loans within SLG, which provides lending solutions to area home builders.
“The Triangle is a dynamic marketplace for home builders, even more so with the challenges we’ve all faced over the last year,” shared Hand. “Tanner has the experience and manner needed to provide builders with what they want—timely, efficient and accurate information and solutions.”
Settles began his banking career with BB&T (now Truist), starting as a leadership development program associate and ascending into positions of progressive responsibility, including as a portfolio manager. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Georgia. He moved to the Triangle in 2016.
