North State Bank Names Tyler Roe as Controller

RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (the “Bank”) named Tyler M. Roe as vice president and controller, announced Stacy Reedy, executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will direct the finance department, which includes managing accounting and monitoring internal controls.

Roe joins the Bank with a decade of corporate accounting experience, having most recently worked at First Citizens Bank in Raleigh and WashingtonFirst Bank (now Sandy Spring Bank) in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

“Tyler brings to the position a stellar academic background combined with ten years of practical corporate accounting experience,” shared Reedy. “We’re pleased to have him on our team.”

Roe is a Raleigh native who recently returned to the region following several years living in the D.C. area. A certified public accountant, he is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting. He completed the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned a leadership certificate from the Wharton School. He is a member of the Triangle Eagle Scout Association.
