RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (the “Bank”) promoted Terri Capps to mortgage loan officer for its Garner office, announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer. In this role, Capps will assist customers who are buying a new home or refinancing an existing mortgage to find the best home financing for their needs, leading them through the process from pre-qualification to closing.

“Terri has decades of mortgage lending expertise and she knows the Garner market inside and out,” shared Lloyd. “We’re excited to have her expand into this position.”

A native of Cambridge, Ohio, Capps has called Garner home since the 1990s, when she started her career in mortgage lending. She volunteers through First Baptist Church of Garner and is active with the Garner Chamber of Commerce.

“I love mortgage lending and I love serving the Garner community,” commented Capps. “My customers are more than loans to me; they become my friends. When people let you into their lives you discover how much we all have in common.”
