North State Bank Names Jonathan Lamb as SBA and USDA B&I Business Development Officer

RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (the Bank) named Jonathan Lamb as Small Business Administration (SBA) and United States Department of Agriculture Business and Industry (USDA B&I) business development officer for its Government Lending Division, announced Larry Moran, president of Government Lending.

Lamb will partner with small businesses throughout the nation to help them access capital to start or expand their companies with government-backed lending solutions.

“Jonathan comes to this role as an experienced entrepreneur who has been an SBA borrower,” shared Moran. “He knows first-hand the impact a reliable lender can have on a small business, especially during turbulent times. His practical insight into the day-to-day challenges and opportunities that small companies face sets him apart in the field.”

Lamb joins the Bank following a diverse career as an entrepreneur and a successful commodity floor trader. He has extensive experience in the energy industry, is the author of a best-selling book on economics, and is a commercial real estate developer and public speaker. He earned a Master of Business Administration from North Carolina State University, where he was a McLauchlan Leadership Fellow, and he earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Ball State University in economics and risk management. He is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana. He recently moved back to his hometown of Yorktown, Indiana, after living in Apex, North Carolina, for over a decade.
