RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank (the “Bank”) has named Mike Foster as a commercial loan portfolio manager serving customers at the Bank’s Wake Forest and Garner offices, announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer.
Foster will partner with business executives and owners to provide lending solutions to help their companies excel. He joins North State following a position in commercial lending for California Bank & Trust in San Diego, California.
“When we bring a new team member into the Bank, we are looking for folks who have that little something ‘extra,’” commented Lloyd. “With Mike, it’s his way of connecting and communicating with people that brings an ease to the relationship, along with his banking expertise. We’re pleased to have him join our team.”
Foster is a native of Makaha, Hawaii, and recently relocated to the Triangle from San Diego. He is an alumnus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a bachelor’s in business administration with a major in finance.
“Having moved from Hawaii to California and now from the west coast to the east coast, I am excited to call North Carolina home,” shared Foster. “I’m in banking to help people and North State’s culture is a perfect fit. I look forward to serving and supporting our customers, along with discovering all this region has to offer.”
