RALEIGH, N.C. . . . North State Bank’s North Raleigh office welcomes John Lehman as a commercial loan portfolio manager, announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer.

Lehman brings over 30 years of industry experience to the position, as well as deep roots in the Triangle. He worked at several of the area’s leading community banks including Bank of North Carolina, Harrington Bank, Cardinal State Bank and Central Carolina Bank. At North State, he will develop and serve commercial banking relationships.

“John’s experience allows him to serve business customers at the highest level,” commented Lloyd. “The Triangle is a dynamic marketplace and he knows it well. He’s a great addition to our team.”

A Rocky Mount native, Lehman is a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumnus and long-time Durham resident. He previously served as a board member for the Diaper Bank of North Carolina.

“I’ve intentionally focused my career on community banks,” shared Lehman. “They are connected to the community in a way large banks are not. One of North State Bank’s key strengths is the speed at which it can serve customers through empowered local decision-making. Business owners and executives appreciate the streamlined process.”
