RALEIGH, N.C. . . . Kyle Smith joined North State Bank’s North Raleigh office as a commercial loan portfolio manager, announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer.

Kyle will work with companies to provide lending solutions that help clients accomplish their goals both short-term and long-term. He joins North State following positions at Capital Bank and BB&T.

“We expect our commercial bankers to not only know banking but to understand what it takes to run a successful business,” commented Lloyd. “Kyle has that knowledge. We know he’ll be an asset to our team and our customers.”

A native North Carolinian, Kyle grew up in Concord and earned a bachelors of arts in economics at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He relocated to the Triangle three years ago.

“Banking, and in particular lending, is my calling,” commented Smith. “Most companies rely on credit solutions to help with everything from day-to-day cash flow to financing for large investments. I enjoy working alongside my customers to find the best solutions to meet their goals.”
