Garner, N.C. - North State Bank senior vice president and Garner market executive Chris Bruffey announced that Brian Hedges has been named vice president and commercial lender for the bank's Garner office.
"Brian brings a lot of energy and excitement to our Garner office," commented Bruffey. "He is eagerly learning our market and the way North State Bank does business in Garner. I look forward to Brian helping grow our office and serving our customers."
Hedges came to North State Bank from Stock Building Supply, where he served as a senior construction loan officer. A native of Raleigh, he received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Liberty University. Hedges is also a certified public accountant.
Founded in 2000, North State is a full-service community bank, serving Wake County through five full-service offices and New Hanover County through one loan production office. Plans are being developed for a full-service office to be located at 16 W. Martin Street, Raleigh, NC, where a lease has been signed.
