Wilmington, N.C. – North State Bank senior vice president and Wilmington market executive Phil Whittington announced that Heather Healy has been named assistant vice president and business development officer for North State Bank.
“Heather brings a lot of experience and enthusiasm to our bank,” said Whittington. “She knows the Wilmington market well, and is actively involved in the community. I know that Heather will contribute much to our deposit growth in the Wilmington market.”
Healy is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, and earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration, with a minor in human resources from Peace College in Raleigh. She comes to
North State from Coastal Federal Bank, where she served as business banking officer. Actively involved in the community, Healy is a member of The Business and Professional Women’s Network as well as Excellence in Business- a local networking group.
Founded in 2000, North State Bank is a full-service community bank, serving Wake and New Hanover counties through seven full-service offices. The new Wilmington office opened in January and is located at 1411 Commonwealth Drive, at the corner of Eastwood Road and Military Cutoff Road.
