NORTH STATE BANK ANNOUNCES PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR
SUMMER SALUTE 2005
Event featuring The Embers raised $100,000 for Hospice of Wake County in 2004, the event's first year.
November 22, 2004
Raleigh, N.C….Planning has begun for North State Bank's Summer Salute 2005, a fundraiser for Hospice of Wake County, announced Sandra A. Temple, senior vice president and chief operations officer for North State Bank and the Bank's lead organizer for Summer Salute. In 2005, the event will be held on Saturday evening, May 21 at North Ridge Country Club, the same site where the event was held in 2004.
"I am pleased that North State Bank can once again sponsor this great event," said Larry D. Barbour, president and CEO for North State. "Last year, the event was embraced by the community and was tremendously successful, raising $100,000 for Hospice. That everyone who helped plan it, those who sponsored it and supported it, and those attended had so much fun in the process was a bonus. Many of the same people who made last year's event a success are on this year's planning committee. We appreciate their involvement and know it will be a great success again with their help."
