Raleigh, N.C. - North State Bank vice president and Wake Forest market executive Jonathan Hand announced that Denise Barbour has been named assistant vice president for North State Bank.
"Denise has been a tremendous asset to our Wake Forest office since she joined the bank last August," said Hand. "She demonstrates a high level of service, and our customers fully trust their banking relationship with Denise. I congratulate her on this well-deserved promotion."
Barbour has over 25 years of banking experience and came to North State Bank from SunTrust Bank in Youngsville, where she served as branch manager for five years. She is actively involved in the community, serving as a member of the North Raleigh Rotary Club, the Ladies Auxiliary for Brassfield Volunteer Fire Department and is the treasurer for the Youngsville Area Business Association.
Founded in 2000, North State is a full-service community bank, serving Wake County through five full-services offices and New Hanover County through one loan production office. Plans are being developed for a full-service office to be located at 16 W. Martin Street, Raleigh, NC, where a lease has been signed, and also for a full-service office in Wilmington at 1411 Commonwealth Drive.
