North State Bank opened for business on June 1, 2000, with two offices, one in Raleigh and one in Garner at the Garner Village Shopping Center.  The first Raleigh office is still open at the corner of Falls of Neuse and Spring Forest Roads, with a new, larger banking office and operations center to open in 2009 in the parking lot in front of the current office.  In 2003, the Garner office moved to its larger, free-standing office on Highway 70.  In addition to these offices, the bank can celebrate 6 additional offices and, most recently, a loan production office in Morehead City, NC.   

Eight offices in eight years!  We’ve grown from only 18 employees to more than 110, and from the first dollar invested to, now, more than $587.6  million in assets. 

 

Our mission has not changed.  And, we still invite customers to experience relationship banking.
