Matt serves our Wake Forest office as the market executive. He has several years of banking experience in positions such as associate client manager, business banker, and banking center manager. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Matt gives back to his community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Tammy Lynn Center, and Meals on Wheels of Wake County. He is currently enrolled in the UNC School of Banking.

Denise Barbour is North State Bank's office manager at the Wake Forest office. She has worked in the banking industry for 28 years, most recently having worked with SunTrust Bank. She is active in the Wake Forest Chamber and also serves as treasurer for the Youngsville Area Business Association and as a member of the Brassfield volunteer fire department.
