Greg Asbelle Senior Vice President and Director of Cash Management Services	Greg is North State Bank's senior vice president and director of cash management. He has approximately 10 years of experience in cash management services and is a certified treasury professional. Prior to joining North State, he served as assistant vice president and treasury services officer for Wachovia Bank. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Greg graduated from High Point University with a bachelor of science in computer info-systems. He is actively involved in the CAI and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Helen Ballentine Senior Vice President and Market Executive	Helen Ballentine serves North State Bank as senior vice president and market executive in our West Raleigh market. She has 23 years of banking experience, holding positions with Nations Credit Financial Services and, most recently, as senior vice president and client manager for Bank of America. She has volunteered for the Cumberland County Partnership for Children and independently works to find homes for abandoned pets. Helen attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC.
Jeffery Billingsley Senior Vice President and Market Executive	Jeff serves North State Bank as a senior vice president and market executive. He has more than ten years of experience in the banking industry, including recent positions as a commercial banker and small business banker. A graduate of Fayetteville State University, he is actively involved in the community, serving as chairman of the Ten-Year Action Plan to End Homelessness in Wake County. Jeff is also a member of the Fayetteville State University Mentoring Program. He is currently attending the UNC School of Banking.
Gina Bunch Assistant Vice President and Office Manager	Gina Bunch serves North State Bank as assistant vice president and office manager for the West Raleigh office. She previously worked with Wachovia, where she served as a service banker for 10 years. Gina is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business management and economics. Gina volunteers with the Summer Salute for Hospice of Wake County event as well as with various activities at her church.
Sondra Collins Assistant Vice President and Office Manager	Sondra Collins serves as the assistant vice president and office manager at North State Bank's North Hills office. Sondra brings with her more than 10 years of banking experience, most recently working with First South Bank. She is a graduate of Houston Technical Institute and serves as a volunteer and committee member for North State Bank's Summer Salute for Hospice of Wake County.
Barbara Doolittle Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker	Barbara Doolittle serves North State Bank as senior vice president and commercial banker in our North Raleigh market. Her experience in the banking industry spans more than 30 years with positions ranging from teller and customer service representative to branch manager and commercial lending officer. Barbara graduated from the North Carolina School of Banking and has been a longtime member of the North Raleigh Civitan Club.
Phillip Frye Assistant Vice President and Business Development Officer	Phillip Frye serves North State Bank's North Raleigh office as assistant vice president and business development officer. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, he joined North State bank as a teller supervisor and has since been consistently promoted for his contributions to the bank. He volunteers in Wake County with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. He is also a board member for the National Students of Ailing Mothers and Fathers Support Group. He was a 2008 recipient of Business Leader magazine's Movers and Shakers award and serves on the planning committee for the North State Bank Summer Salute for Hospice of Wake County event. Phillip is currently attending the UNC School of Banking.
Jonathan Hand Senior Vice President and Senior Market Executive	Jonathan Hand serves North State Bank as senior vice president and senior market executive for the North Raleigh office. He has more than 15 years of banking experience, holding positions such as market president, middle market client manager, and relationship manager. Jonathan serves on the board of directors for the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Economic Development and Government Affairs Committees for the Chamber. He also serves on the board of directors for the Kerr Banks Family YMCA and is a volunteer for the We Build People Campaign. Jonathan is also a board member for the Trentini Foundation. A graduate of East Carolina University, he holds a bachelor's degree in finance. He is currently attending the UNC School of Banking.
J. Ryan Heath Vice President and Director of Wealth Management	Ryan Heath serves as vice president and director of wealth management. In this role, he assists customers with all types of life investments, including stocks, mutual funds, bonds, variable & fixed annuities, life insurance, health insurance, long-term care insurance, as well as others. Services are offered through Capital Investment Group. Ryan attended Louisiana State University and previously served as owner of Pinehurst Capital and Legacy Wealth Partners.
Brian Hedges Vice President and Commercial Banker	Brian serves North State Bank as vice president and commercial banker. He came to North State Bank from Stock Building Supply, where he served as a senior construction loan officer. He holds a B.A. in accounting from Liberty University and is a certified public accountant. He is currently enrolled in the Risk Management Association's Commercial Lending School.
Diane Klietsch Vice President and Relationship Banker CommunityPLUS	Diane serves North State Bank's CommunityPLUS division as vice president and relationship banker. CommunityPLUS is a division of NSB created to serve the banking needs of community association management companies across the United States. She has over 10 years of experience in working with community associations, most recently serving as the chapter executive director for Community Association Institute of NC (CAI-NC) from 2000-2007. She is a graduate of Robert Morris College and holds licenses in property and casualty insurance in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Sharon Moe Vice President and Market Executive	Sharon Moe serves North State Bank as vice president and market executive for our downtown Raleigh office. She has experience in positions such as branch manager, senior credit portfolio analyst and commercial lender. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies from The College of William and Mary. From there she went on to study at NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business where she earned her MBA in Finance.
John Norwood Vice President and Commercial Banker	John Norwood serves North State Bank's North Hills office as a vice president and commercial banker. He has experience in positions such as commercial real estate lending, regional operations management and branch management. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. An active member of the community, John serves as fundraising chairperson for both the Cub Scouts and Brownie Troops.
Ruth Payne Assistant Vice President and Office Manager	Ruth Payne is North State Bank's office manager at the North Raleigh office. She has more than eight years of experience in the banking industry, most recently working as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for Capital Bank. She brings additional management experience with her from positions at Midway Airlines and The Walt Disney Company. Ruth volunteers with Duke Children's Hospital and the United Way. She also provides shelter for lost or abandoned cats in the Raleigh community through Safe Haven for Cats. Ruth attended North Carolina State University and is a graduate of the UNC School of Banking.
Robert D. "Bobby" Ross Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Banker	Bobby Ross serves North State Bank as senior vice president and commercial banker for the bank's flagship North Raleigh office. He has 30 years of banking experience in North Carolina, holding positions with Bank of America, and most recently, as senior vice president and Raleigh city executive for First South Bank. He is a past president and campaign chairman for the Edgecombe County United Way, a past president of the Tarboro Area Chamber of Commerce, board member for Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) and a past board member for Education Financing Services, LLC. Bobby was also named the 2006 TCAR Associate of the year. A native of Mint Hill, NC, Bobby received both his undergraduate degree in accounting and his MBA from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Gary L. Woodlief Senior Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer, CommunityPLUS	Gary Woodlief serves North State Bank as senior vice president and chief business development officer for CommunityPLUS, a division created to serve the banking needs of community association management companies. He played an integral role in laying the foundation for our Wake Forest office. A graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in finance, his banking career of more than 18 years has primarily been in the Wake Country/Triangle area. Gary serves on the Board of Directors for the Risk Management Association, the advisory board for the Alexander Family YMCA and the Champions Group for the Wake Med Foundation. He served as Corporate Chair of the 2008 Leukemia and Lymphoma Light the Night Walk. He previously volunteered in the Education First Program at Lockhart Elementary and has served on the board of directors for the Knightdale Chamber, East Wake Alliance and the Banks Kerr Family YMCA.
