Chris Bruffey serves North State Bank as senior vice president and market executive. A Garner native, he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He served the Garner area for six years as a branch manager, small business banker, and city executive for Wachovia. Active in the community, Chris is past president of the Garner Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Garner Rotary Club.

Beverly Southerland is North State Bank's office manager at the Garner office. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently working as vice president and branch manager for SunTrust Bank. To give back to the community, she serves as vice president for the SunVillas homeowners association in Myrtle Beach, treasurer for her church, where she has served for over 20 years, and as a member of the Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club.
