Chris Bruffey serves North State Bank as senior vice president and market executive. A Garner native, he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science in business administration. He served the Garner area for six years as a branch manager, small business banker, and city executive for Wachovia. Active in the community, Chris is past president of the Garner Chamber of Commerce, past-president and secretary of the Garner Rotary Club, and a member of the Aversboro Road Baptist Church.

Brian serves North State Bank as vice president and commercial banker in our Garner office. He came to North State Bank from Stock Building Supply, where he served as a senior construction loan officer. He holds a B.A. in accounting from Liberty University and is a certified public accountant. He is currently enrolled in the Risk Management Association's Commercial Lending School.

Beverly Southerland is North State Bank's office manager at the Garner office. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently working as vice president and branch manager for SunTrust Bank. To give back to the community, she serves as vice president for the SunVillas homeowners association in Myrtle Beach; through her work with Wilson's Mills Baptist church, where she has served as treasurer for more than 20 years; and as a member of the Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club.
